MC HOME HEALTH SERVICES, INC.

Home Health Aide means an aide who has successfully completed a state-approved training program, is employed by a home health agency or hospice program, and provides personal care services in the patient's home.

“Home health aide services” means personal care services provided under a plan of treatment prescribed by the patient's physician who is licensed to practice medicine in the state.  Home health aide services shall be provided by a person certified by the state department as a home health aide pursuant to this chapter.  Services which do not involve personal care services provided under a plan of treatment prescribed by a physician may be provided by a person who is not a certified home health aide.
